Grace has been painting and drawing as long as she can remember. Her medium of choice - pastels. You don’t have to prepare or pre-mix. It’s out and ready for that inspiration. Often it’s the pastels themselves that inspire her. When she sees her open case of pastels with hundreds of colours she feels an overwhelming surge of energy and excitement and can't wait to dive in and create. Her subject of choice – the Ontario landscape. She feels so privileged to live in such a beautiful country. With that in mind she takes liberties with her colour choices to create works that capture the mood rather than the accuracy of the scene.
