Have you ever stood in front of a mountain and took in its beauty, it’s ruggedness? Breathed in its fresh air, and listened to the stillness? A world away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday life in the city, your body and mind seem to be cleansed and come into balance with nature. You feel refreshed . . . hopeful . . . exhilarated! If I could just capture that feeling and put it on canvas for you, I’ve done my job.
I don’t live anywhere near a mountain, so I climb the mountains with my paint brush and live the adventure on my canvas. I think about that early morning light as it shimmers on the hills, or the Golden light cast at sunset that engulfs the mountain to give you yet another tender display of its gift of healing.
